Study in Malta

Generally speaking, Malta is a great place to study and live in. Geographically, Malta is somewhat isolated and lies between Italy and Tunisia. Located near the coast of Italy in the Mediterranean Sea, Malta is an archipelago known for its temples and castles. It is also characterized by its rocky nature and somewhat unusual ecosystems within Europe. Studying in Malta will be nice and worth the experience because it will take place in a place far from the hustle and bustle of the world.

In the pursuit of getting high-quality education, a large number of students prefer to study in countries with the best education system, and when we talk about excellent living standards and world-class education, Malta is a very suitable place.

Conditions for study and admission to universities in Malta

Admission requirements for a foreign student in Malta are not strict. Malta accepts foreign nationals with an educational background that matches the level of general secondary education as required. Besides, Malta universities accept individuals with a bachelor’s degree in master’s courses. Those foreign nationals who have obtained a Higher education at MSc level and work experience in their specialty are admitted as postgraduate students.

Foreign students who have Master of Science level and proficiency in the language of instruction, in most cases English, can be assigned to study to get a PhD degree at one of the accepted universities. That's because applicants for scientific doctoral studies for a doctoral degree may seek to get a Doctor of Science (D.Sc.) degree in order to prepare a thesis under the supervision of a scientific advisor.
