Pre-Sessional English Courses
Students who do not meet the English language entry requirements at a university or college can
take an introductory course to develop their language skills before starting studies. These
courses improve your level of English to prepare for your undergraduate or postgraduate degree.
At the end of the course, students who reach the required level of English can begin their
studies. A short program of remedial language study is offered to improve the skills of those
who have not succeeded. After that, students who reach the required level of English after the
remedial course can begin their studies. Those who do not pass the catch-up course will be
deferred to the next language study programme.
Customised language tests within the university
It is a test that students take to determine their language level before enrolling in the study
at the university or college. It is usually exposed to foreign students or those whose secondary
studies were in a language different from the language of the university or the country in which
they will complete their university studies.
